What is Diners Club?
Diners Club is a major credit card company that was founded in New York in 1950. When it was created, Diners Club was the first completely independent credit card company in the world. In 2004, the Diners Club brand temporarily formed an agreement with MasterCard where all Diners Club cards would display the MasterCard logo. Four years later, Discover purchased the Diners Club company to form a major, international credit card network.
